  1. okay, so you do this, but with the spaces around the ”

    you have to specificy the size of the video “screen” in the object tag, which encloses everything else. (code always works in an architectural structure this way) param = paramteter, src = source [always the url of whatever you’re inserting]… if whatever you’re embedding is already on a site like youtube, just copy what’s in the “embed” box below the URL box, as I did here:

    if whatever you have isn’t already on the internet, you have to upload it to server space before you can embed it on the webpage–because remember, the code refers to a source, that source being wherever the file actually exists on the internet.

    thus ends today’s webDev tutorial. someone else probably could’ve explained it more clearly, but this was the best i could do.
